Job Role

FM & SP Co-ordinator Assistant

As part of the expansion of Ameon’s Facilities Management and Special Project Departments, a role has become available supporting the FM & SP Co-ordinator in all aspects of their daily duties.

Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Processing data and raising purchase orders assisting the procurement process
  • Arranging for quotations / estimates for various planned and reactive works
  • Assisting the wider FM team on bespoke planned maintenance solutions for various clients
  • Contacting clients, contractors & suppliers to help co-ordinate site visits
  • Use of a CAFM software system, word and excel
  • Use of an accounting software system
  • Updating various FM & SP trackers
  • Answering phones to support reactive FM calls
  • Working in a fast-paced deadline orientated environment
  • Building strong relationships and showing excellent communication skills
  • Collating hard copies of Operation and Maintenance manuals
  • All round general admin duties within the department
  • Occasional additional admin duties within the Finance Department, including reception work.

Key skills and attributes you will have:

  • GCSE grade 9 – 5 is desirable in Maths and English
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft word and excel
  • Good attitude to learning and attention to detail
  • Ability to pick up new skills quickly
  • The capacity to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Capability to prioritise workload, work well within a team and work without supervision at times
  • Good telephone manner and verbal communication skills

Package:

  • Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 17.00, Friday 9.00 to 15.00
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 23 days annual leave pro rata, plus bank holidays
