Morgan Pritchard is proof that if you use your initiative and put everything into a search for employment, then you’re far more likely to achieve success.

And so it was for the 18-year-old student from Lytham, who popped into Ameon Utilities one day asking for an opportunity to gain unpaid work experience.  Morgan impressed during a test period of paid work, and the result is that he becomes Ameon Utilities’ latest member of the Degree Apprenticeship Programme.

Although beginning his five-year honour’s degree study in September, Morgan has already joined Ameon Utilities as a trainee design engineer, so will be able to hit the ground running due to the industry and commercial knowledge he has acquired to date.

Always ready to go the extra mile, the former St Bede’s student, who gained T-Level 3 in Building Services Engineering at Preston College, is a member of Lytham St Annes Road Runners and an accomplished 5K distance runner.

Morgan’s demonstrated the resolve required to push himself through the hard yards of study, so let’s welcome him to the team and wish him well for his degree apprenticeship.
