When somebody says, “you’ve filled a void in my brain,” then, it’s likely they’ve been sufficiently inspired by what they’ve just heard.
For Nathan Osborne, 18, one of the latest recruits to join Ameon’s Degree Apprenticeship Programme, his visit to Ameon HQ proved inspiring enough for him to want to join us in September, as he aims for an honour’s degree and a potential career in our design department.
Following a presentation from design director, Dave Connor, Nathan was particularly impressed with the role of design and the use of BIM in the process, and admitted he’d thought previously that electricians were responsible for designing their own installations.
The former Blackpool Sixth Form College student from Thornton was always interested in engineering, and he’s now excited by the prospect of qualifying with Ameon.
Let’s wish him well and welcome him to the team at HQ.
