It might not be a gift to Ameon from the man with the sleigh and the reindeer, nevertheless it’s a very welcome, early piece of Christmas cheer in the form of the Morgan Sindall Quality Award, presented to us for the quality of our M&E installation at the North of England Robotics Innovation Centre (NERIC) in Salford.

Our client, Morgan Sindall, also praised us for the efficiency and smoothness of the commissioning on a contract that included power systems for the Centre’s robots, together with the full range of MEP services.

The world class learning environment is the University of Salford’s base for robotics and automation specialists to pilot and test innovative digital technology with industry partners, and houses a number of robots, within three large laboratories, which will focus on intelligent infrastructure and automation.

Contracts director Rod Bunce said:  “NERIC is such a huge asset to the North West and only adds to the region’s reputation for industrial and technological innovation. It is therefore  extremely positive for us to be involved in its development, giving us a chance to work again  alongside our client, Morgan Sindall. It has already provided a showcase for Ameon’s design and modelling capabilities, so in addition, to be recognised for our work on this project is a great way to kick off the festive period.”
