Today is World Mental Health Day, and so it is the perfect time to celebrate the start of the fourth year of our partnership with BHSF – the organisation providing Ameon’s Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).

The health and wellbeing app, which integrates mental, physical and financial wellbeing elements, has empowered employees to take control of all these aspects of their lives.  The app provides access to on-line GP services, a confidential helpline supporting those with mental  health or emotional concerns, expert  and practical legal advice, money management support and smarter spending opportunities, through discounts on hundreds of well-known brands.

Many employees have engaged with the service and it has been especially helpful to Ameon’s Mental First Aid Team, who now have specialist in-the-moment support, when it’s needed. The service also extends to employee family members (over 18 years old) who reside at the same address.

Ameon’s SHEQ director, Chris Mangnall is delighted that the company is able to provide such useful support services to all the workforce.  He commented: “We like to think of ourselves as one big family at Ameon, therefore, supporting our ‘family’ is important to us.

“The app is providing essential support where needed.  It is also proving extremely useful for those of our remote working teams, who can get quick access to other services,  including the popular online GP consultations, which can be accessed from anywhere when employees are away from home. And for those who haven’t yet engaged in any of the services provided, I’m happy to provide further information, if they contact me at our headquarters.”
