After 290 miles and 25 hours, Ameon’s Cyclathon champions look accomplished!
This fantastic effort to undertake a non-stop coast to coast virtual cycle relay from Blackpool to Scarborough and back, in support of Brian House Children’s Hospice, was another sign of the commitment of Ameon  staff and employees to the Ameon 25 fundraising programme in celebration of the company’s 25th year.
The feat is even more remarkable, because team member, Louise Field, had to drop out at the last minute,  having contracted Covid-19,  which meant that the seven remaining cyclists had to add Louise’s planned relay slots to their own to hit the 290-mile target in the planned 25 hours.

Ameon and the team are indebted to Jamie Ashworth and Tariq Robertson, owners of T12 Body Transformation, for the loan of a state-of-the-art static gym bike for the event.

Well done ladies! And at the time of going to press, the team, consisting of: Jean O’ Hagan, Susan Connolly, Caroline Thistlethwaite, Debra Wraith, Stacey Perkes, Lisa Kinsey and Lisa Kelly sends best wishes to Louise for a speedy recovery.
