Ameon’s Steve McCourt got the run around when he asked to use the rooftop running track at Vox Manchester…a whole 84 laps-worth to be exact… as he completed an official 10K monitored run in a bid to bag a world record.
As part of the Ameon 25 fundraising programme, Steve’s event, which was co-organised with Vox, was staged to raise valuable funds for the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, which supports a family of NHS Manchester hospitals.
His endeavour earned him an interview on Sky News on the morning of the run, which he admitted was scarier than the run itself!
A great achievement for Ameon’s principal commercial manager, and not possible without the fantastic support of the management at Vox Manchester, the city’s innovative residential apartment development, in which Ameon played a key role in the construction.
Steve’s total hit £2,500 on the day of the run and continues to rise.
