Tom Warwick, 33, has been appointed to the newly created post of FM & aftercare manager.
Formerly aftercare manager with us, Tom will be responsible for Ameon’s electrical and mechanical teams working on small to medium size contracts. His remit will include the growing facilities management business, which incorporates ongoing maintenance service contracts on key public sector buildings, such as the Royal Preston Hospital, together with commercial developments across the region.
A member of the Great Britain baseball team, during his teenage years, Tom has certainly progressed past first base since serving his electrical apprenticeship in the Blackpool area. Joining Ameon in 2011, as an installation electrician, he worked on a number of high-profile residential and commercial developments, forming part of the regeneration of Manchester city centre, and served as an on-site electrical supervisor before moving to the aftercare department in 2014: becoming aftercare manager in 2019.
Commented contracts director, Rod Bunce: “Tom epitomises our philosophy, which is to offer everybody in the business the opportunity to grow with it. He has the drive and energy needed to manage our burgeoning facilities management division, and I’m certain that he’ll continue to make a great contribution to our future growth in the sector.”
