They smashed it!
Ameon commercial director, Adam Sutton and climbing partner, Cliff Barclay, have hit the roof of Africa – the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro – raising almost £6,000 to date for Brian House Children’s Hospice in Blackpool!
Fantastic achievement by both, who witnessed sunrise over Africa from the summit at circa 19,000ft!
Ameon has agreed to match their donations pound for pound, which means even greater support for the charity, adopted earlier this year by the Company for all its corporate fundraising.
Adam Sutton commented: “This has been by far the toughest thing either of us have tackled, especially as we struggled with altitude sickness close to the summit. However, it was worth every foot climbed and rock scrambled over to know that this money will make a real difference to the children at Brian House.”
