Following our successful year-long fundraising campaign in 2021, we’ve decided to adopt Brian House Children’s Hospice for all our corporate fundraising activities from now on.

Our 25th anniversary fundraising programme, ‘Ameon 25’, raised £50,000 for Brian House during 2021 and we intend to expand that support, so that fundraising initiatives will no longer be linked to just milestone events, even though, they alone have already generated £100,000 to fund the vital work of the charity.

Managing director, Robin Lawson, believes the time is right for the company to formalise its relationship with Brian House.  He said: “We’ve all seen the fantastic work the hospice does in supporting children and families during times of real adversity, and we know that firstly the Covid pandemic, and now the serious cost of living crisis, have made it even more difficult to secure donations at this time.  It was therefore decided that we should offer our support on a corporate level, so that our efforts could be focused year-round.

“We know that Brian House needs to raise around £1 Million every year, just to enable it to continue to provide its unique services and medical care to children and their families on the Fylde Coast, and we hope that our announcement might help as a catalyst to encourage other businesses to pledge their support in a similar way.”

Commenting on the news, Brian House’s Corporate Partnerships Manager, Janet Atkins, said: “This is tremendous for us here at Brian House, and it really means so much to us that Ameon has pledged to support our children’s hospice in all its corporate fundraising activities.

“Everyone at Ameon has done incredible work to support our charity, helping us to care for the most fragile children on the Fylde coast, and we are looking forward to seeing what fundraising ideas they come up with so that we can continue to be here for the local families who need us.”

Ongoing corporate and individual activities will form the basis of our arrangement, with Ameon  match funding any donations generated by employees.
