A nine-storey 96 apartment residential development in the heart of Salford. The scheme is the first of it’s kind within the region, providing Passivhaus-accredited affordable apartments. The M&E services installation was delivered as part of a modern multi-storey residential development providing high-quality apartments, communal areas, resident amenities and associated back-of-house facilities within the wider New Bailey regeneration scheme.
The project comprised the installation and commissioning of highly efficient mechanical, electrical and public health services, including low-energy heating and ventilation systems, domestic water, drainage, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security and life-safety systems, all carefully coordinated to support the building’s Passivhaus compliance through reduced energy demand, controlled ventilation, airtightness and minimised heat loss.
