Great News! We have achieved further UKAS accreditation through BRE, for the installation of passive fire protection systems, including fire & smoke-resisting dampers. And with the new certification by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), comes entry into the BRE RedBook Live register, which is the key reference point for fire and security products and services used by specifiers, regulators, designers and end users.
Ameon is now certified to Loss Prevention Standards (LPS 1531) for the performance of fire safety products and services, including the installation of fire-rated ductwork, which also carries the Fire Accreditation Scheme (FIRAS) standard, awarded in December 2024.
The new accreditation for Ameon’s products and services strengthens our service offering, and, through our inclusion in two globally recognised industry standards registers, demonstrates our fire safety competences.
Ameon construction director, Dave Scott, is delighted with the achievement of another accreditation for our products and services in the area of fire protection. He says: “This new certification is another recognition of the breadth of our service offering and our in-house capabilities as a contractor. And let’s not forget that alongside these capabilities, we are also a manufacturer of a fire-rated product.
“Our inclusion in the BRE Redbook Live is testament to our status in the industry, underpinning that we are now truly a multi-faceted business, equipped for the evolving nature of the construction sector and the requirements of clients, who are looking increasingly for services contractors with a range of competences and guaranteed standards.”
