Rock FM’s Cash for Kids appeal is £2,000 richer due to our donation, which we hope will bring some comfort and joy to children across Lancashire, who might have gone without Christmas presents to open this year were it not for the radio station’s fantastic appeal.
‘Mission Christmas’ at Rock FM is to help make Christmas Day different for disadvantaged children by ensuring that those who could wake up without anything under the tree on Christmas Day, have something special to unwrap. It’s a great sentiment, and one that we are delighted to have help turn into a reality for lots of children of all ages across Lancashire.
Comments national grants manager and Rock FM Cash for Kids charity manager, Nikki Thompson: “How wonderful that Ameon has supported us in this way, because it has been the hardest of years for so many, and for our charity, so we really are incredibly grateful of the support.”
Ameon commercial director, Adam Sutton believes the campaign hits the right note, given the current economic environment. He said: “This is a great cause, and if our involvement means a happier Christmas for children in the region, especially in the midst of the pandemic; it’s been the right thing to do.”
The appeal welcomes support from businesses and the general public, so if anyone wants to get involved they can still do so.
Happy Christmas!
