We know the summer temperature’s rising again.  However, that’s not the reason Ameon’s Michael Dallas, has gone up a degree, because the 31-year-old senior design engineer from Kirkham has just gained an MSc in Building Services Engineering – with merit – from Leeds Beckett University; one of the few CIBSE (Chartered Institute Building Services Engineering) accredited universities offering the degree.

Michael’s newly gained master’s degree will sit nicely alongside his BEng (Hons) first in Mechanical and Production Engineering gained in 2017, which was awarded through Lancaster University, following study at Blackpool and the Fylde College.

Joining the Ameon team, a little over seven and a half years ago, the former Hodgson, Poulton, sixth former lives in Kirkham and plans to continue his professional development and has applied to CIBSE to become a chartered engineer.  He’ll discover if his application has been successful in the coming months, when hopefully, we’ll have something else to congratulate him upon.  Until then, let’s just congratulate Michael for attaining an MSc.

From here, like the mercury at present, the only way is up!
